HIPPÖs are handcrafted vegan rope sandals made from the most eco-friendly rope available. Every pair is made of soft recycled polyester rope which is lightweight, durable, & extremely comfortable; making them perfect for any adventure. Excellent water shoes, they are rot and mildew proof, unsinkable and provide excellent traction - even when wet. Can be machine washed but should be air-dried.

Where did the sole go?

I have 3 pairs of these. The first two, which I got a few years ago, have traveled the world with me. They had a rubber-type sole which helped keep them dry, and made them so much more comfortable and padded.

Why remove them? This latest pair are no comparison to the original. Would return them if I could.

Ordered it almost 3 weeks ago. Will arrived in 2 weeks. 5 weeks for a package... Ridiculous.
